movie review.... hot tub time machine

i love this movie. enuff fart and dick jokes to make me geek. and enuff cool 80's stuff to keep me looking at the background and set design. all the people in this movie are funny in their own special way. this was a perfect fit for jon cuszak with his sad loney dry humor and the 80s theme.... a couple of time line errors and cronological incorrectness too. but whatever its spose to be a dumb comedy. my fav part? ... the end when rob acts out the part of vince neil in the home sweet home video.... fukin awesome... it pulled on my 80's metal heart strings... hahahaha not the funniest movie ever. but pretty fukin funny. 4 outta 5

movie review "who's your daddy"

when i chose to watch this movie i knew it wasn't gunna be a five star deal. judgeing by the cover art (slapped with a big unrated red bar) i was hopeing for/ expecting tons of boobs. nope. one frikin pair in the entire film. wtf was the unrated tag for? the fart and dick jokes?...this was one of those "teen movies" with unknown actors and a slightly changed billy madison plot line. the cast had like three people i reconized only one of whom i didnt hafta look the name... dave tomas-the actor not the dead wendys guy....the others are the second oldest brother on malcome in the middle and Robert Ri'chard... who i reconize from being forced to watch upn reruns of (one on one)late at night at my parents with no cable.... this is one of those poorly filmed thrown together movies, with this camera work it seems anyone could pick up a digital camera and film this dumb shit.... caught whilke jerking off scene, a fattter pervert best friend, a prom scene, and cookie cutter no namer "pop punk" songs... real original stuff here.... oh and there were two...count em two differwent covers of we're no gunna take it.... super cool huh?... no. 0.5 outta 5

cd review ... intercept "symphony for somebody else"...let me start off by sayin i had no preconceived notions about this band upon pressing the play button. all i went by was the streaming press page i was linked to. ....so i press the play button and bam.... super soft pop rock... i almost hate to say "pop rock" cuz that implies the band was "rocking" it. but nope... just strummin it out with a limp wrist and a semi country undertone.... not sure where they are from but im guessing the south. im also guessing they shop at american eagle... but any ways......the overall sound wasn't over produced like most of the "pop rock/pop punk" bands out now...this band sounds as if they could actually pull the sound off on stage... track three "last one to show" had potential with a "heavy" build up... but then...bang str8 back to wuss tunes... track four was the title track and he kept sayin " i just wanna be myself" over and over again...just shut up and do it. the fifth track almost gave em a 2 outta 5 with a sweet acoustic jammout part kinda like dave matthews or sumthin like that... this cd surely was "a symphony for somebody else"... somebody other than this guy. 01 outta 05. ------lodoublet
